BGES’ charitable status often qualifies corporate support from such organizations as Caterpillar, General Mills, and ExxonMobil. Corporate Human Resources departments can advise if they will match your gift. You usually will have to make the gift to BGES and submit a form to either BGES or HR for certification. The BGES will execute the proper paperwork and certify the qualifying gift. You will be advised when the corporation presents us with a check.
Other corporations offer checks to charities as an incentive for time spent volunteering for the organization. Your HR department can advise if they have such a program, along with the details required to qualify for a corporate gift in honor of your volunteer work.
